This hoodie is a 1960 USA hockey team jersey replica.
In 1960 in Squaw Valley, CA, the USA Olympic hockey team won the gold medal, and they wouldn't win again for 20 years, until Lake Placid, NY, where Coach Herb Brooks was the coach. Herb was the last player cut from the 1960 team before the 1960 gold. Little did everyone know that he would go on to make history with the 1980 team.
The Everyday Hood is a reliable classic that everyone needs in their closet for warmth, comfort, and style. Constructed in 55% cotton/45% polyester sueded fleece, it delivers expected details including a set on pouch pocket, ribbed cuffs and waistband, as well as a jersey lined hood.
Love the look and feel of this hoodie. It is hard to tell from the photos, but the design is embroidered, not just screened/ironed on, so it is very high quality. It definitely runs small so order a size up. I ordered an XL and I had to exchange for a XXL.
